2009-2014 Lindy conducted workshops for the Actors’ Conservatory of the Canada Film Centre.
Lindy worked on Sarah Polley’s Away from Her for which Julie Christie won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress; the National Board of Review Award for Best Actress; the Critic’s Circle Award and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress. Julie was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress.
Lindy most recently worked with Julie Christie on The Company You Keep directed by Robert Redford and Red Riding Hood directed by Catherine Hardwicke .

ACTOR TRAINING
Lindy has been involved in Actor Training for thirty years. She was Head of the School of Drama at the former Victorian College of the Arts from November 1995 – February 2007.
She also held the position of Head of Acting at the Victorian College of the Arts from 1979-1982.
She was Lecturer in Drama at Melbourne State College 1970 -1978.
She is presently writing a book on her Approach to Performance.
OTHER AWARDS
In 2012 Lindy received a two year Theatre Board Fellowship from the Australia Council this will be completed in March 2015
Lindy has received a Sidney Myer Performing Arts Special Citation for her contribution to the Performing Arts in Australia. She was also a recipient of the Monash University Distinguished Alumni Award for Inspirational Leadership and a Significant Contribution to the Theory and Practice of Drama.
Lindy received a fellowship as a Writer in Residence at Bundanon in 2015
